Theatre Origins
I can't say with absolutely certainty how I ended up so involved and in love with theatre and the MHS Theatre Department specifically. I'm not sure if it was performing a monologue in 8th grade or making the bold albeit the best decision to sign up for Garcia's PDP Drama course. Maybe it was auditioning for Peter Pan (and before that Clue). Maybe it was spending nights decorating trees with foliage or huddled on a bed backstage with 10 other people. Quite possibly it was bonding over burning loathe for the call for pause by someone we'd nicknamed after a famous whale. Or watching as everyone hugged, faces streaming in tears after a powerful scene. Maybe it was none of these - or all of these. But whatever the reason, in all the uncertainty I face life with, I'm so fortunate to have experienced all of this. So here's a thank you to all I've had the pleasure of working and growing with these past few years.
